 My Training

About My IFS Training

My formal training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) spans five years of deep study and practice. My primary mentor, teacher, and trainer was Dr. Guthrie Sayen, PhD, who trained extensively with Dr. Richard Schwartz, the founder of IFS. Dr. Sayen completed advanced Level 3 (L3) trainings with Dr. Schwartz and has been guiding practitioners, coaches, therapists, and social workers worldwide since 2013.

In addition, I trained with Dr. Jay Earley, deepening my understanding and hands-on experience with Exile unburdening and application of the IFS model.

Through these years of training and practice, I explored the inner world, learned to listen deeply, welcomed all parts of myself, unburdened parts holding fear and shame, and discovered the essence of being fully present.
